They are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to support production operations and assist in supervising shop activities at their Mosinee, Wisconsin location.
Position Overview:
The Lead Saw Operator / Assistant Supervisor will play a key role in daily shop operations, with responsibilities that include operating stone cutting equipment, supporting production workflow, and maintaining high standards for quality and safety. This individual will also assist the Shop Supervisor with scheduling, mentoring team members, and ensuring the overall efficiency of the production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate bridge saws, wire saws, and other fabrication equipment to cut and shape stone materials
- Support the Shop Supervisor in managing daily workflow and coordinating tasks
- Monitor and enforce safety standards, quality control, and production efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues with machinery
- Interpret shop drawings and execute precise measurements and cuts
- Train and mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability
