What’s involved / how does this process work?
Westphal Staffing is a staffing company that helps client companies and candidates find each other – a job matching service that starts with an in depth analysis of the job and the candidates skill and fit preferences. There are no two jobs or candidates alike. We are here to solve business problems for our customers by connecting talent to our clients.

Do I, as a prospective candidate, have to pay for this service?
No. You will never have to pay a fee for our services.

What do you specialize in? What types of positions do you have available?
We specialize in office and professional staffing and recruiting. Any position that can be done in an office or professional setting can be found be Westphal Staffing. Here are examples of positions we have successfully filled in the last 12 months (which includes temporary and permanent positions):

What can I expect to be paid?
The market for a particular position typically determines how much you are paid. Additional variables that may be factored in include your experience level, skill set, and education.

What if I don’t want to work as a temporary?
We will match you with a position that is not temporary but rather temp-to-hire or direct hire. In a temp-to-hire arrangement, you work for us for 480 hours, and then if the employment relationship is working out to your liking and the clients, a formal job offer is made and if accepted you become an employee of our client’s. This is a great opportunity to “check out” the company before accepting a permanent position. Direct hire is a permanent service we offer and typically reserved for higher level salaried positions.

What if I’ve had bad luck in the past with staffing services?
We place a high value on the candidate experience. We can assure you will be treated with the utmost professionalism. We work one-on-one with our job seekers giving you as much as you need.

I have applied in the past and no one contacted me.
Westphal Staffing uses an applicant tracking system by which all of your skills, wants and needs are documented. We are working in this system daily to assure our clients get the best possible candidates. If you haven’t heard back, feel free to call us to inquire.

Which company is this position for?
We understand your interest in knowing which company the position is located at right away. However, we would like you to first come in to go through our interview process and then if we both feel you are a match we will present the position to you at that time.

Can the company or you (WSI) train me?
Sometimes the client is willing to train an individual if the software, for example, is specific to them. If, however, they are looking for someone to come in to do administrative or managerial work they will expect that you will arrive on the job with that experience. We offer free training on software (IBM Kenexa Prove It!) programs here. We are willing to train you on a specific software program prior to your assignment if you have the rest of the job qualifications the client is requesting.
