Westphal Staffing is partnering with a growing organization that is looking for a People Operations Business Partner to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys the best of both worlds — talent acquisition and hands-on HR business partnering.
A major focus of this role will be finding and attracting great talent, but you’ll also work closely with leaders and employees on everything from employee relations and engagement to onboarding, retention, policies, compliance, and process improvement.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead recruiting efforts and develop creative strategies to find great talent
- Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruiting and selection process
- Build talent pipelines through sourcing, networking, schools, career fairs, and community partnerships
- Coach and support leaders with employee relations, performance management, policies, and people-related decisions
- Help enhance onboarding, retention, engagement, recognition, and the overall employee experience
- Use HR data and trends to identify opportunities and recommend improvements

What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field — or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of talent acquisition experience
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, manager coaching, compliance, and HR processes
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and other sourcing tools
- Strong relationship-building, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Someone who can juggle multiple priorities, think strategically, and isn’t afraid to bring new ideas to the table
