Westphal Staffing is partnering with a well-established organization seeking a Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development Specialist to join their HR team. This role combines hands-on recruiting and onboarding with school, community, and workforce outreach.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting and candidate communication
- Coordinate pre-employment activities and new hire onboarding
- Build relationships with high schools, colleges, and workforce programs
- Coordinate internships, apprenticeships, job shadows, and youth apprenticeship opportunities
- Attend career fairs and community recruiting events
- Support employer branding and recruitment marketing
- Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate’s degree in HR, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of HR or recruiting experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with ATS systems, Indeed, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office
- Proactive, creative, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
